This website is operated by Cameroo. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Cameroo. We provide this website, its content, tools, and services on the condition that you agree to follow all terms, conditions, and policies outlined here.

By visiting our site and/or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). These Terms apply to every user of the site, including visitors, browsers, customers, and content contributors.

Please read them carefully before using our website. If you do not agree, you must stop using our site and services.

Our online store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which supplies the e-commerce platform allowing us to sell our products to you.

SECTION 1 – USING OUR STORE

To place an order, you must be at least the legal age of majority in your location, or have permission from a parent/guardian.

You must not use our products for unlawful purposes or violate any laws in your jurisdiction while using them. Any misuse may result in us terminating your access to our services.

SECTION 2 – GENERAL CONDITIONS

We can refuse service to anyone, for any reason, at any time.

While we take care to keep our content accurate, there may be occasional errors or omissions. Your use of our site is at your own risk, and we may update or remove content without notice.

You may not copy, sell, or exploit any part of our services without our written permission.

SECTION 3 – PRODUCTS & FEATURES

Cameroo sells disposable 35mm film cameras with pre-applied decorative stickers. All cameras are made to order and typically take up to 3 business days before dispatch.

While we aim to display colours and designs as accurately as possible:

  • Colours can appear slightly different on screens
  • Pattern placement may vary between products
  • Stickers may slightly reduce grip on textured surfaces

Important Film Photography Notes:

  • Our cameras use one (1) AAA alkaline battery to power the flash.
  • After using all exposures, the film must be developed at a photo lab. Development is not included in the purchase price and we do not provide this service.
  • Film photos may have imperfections such as light leaks, grain, or slight distortions — this is normal and part of the unique character of film photography.

SECTION 4 – PRICING & PAYMENT

  • Prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
  • We accept payment by credit/debit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
  • Orders are confirmed once payment is successfully processed.

SECTION 5 – SHIPPING

  • We currently ship to addresses within Australia only, via Australia Post.
  • Standard and Express delivery options are available.
  • We ship to parcel lockers and PO boxes.
  • Dispatch time is usually within 1–5 business days (most orders are sent within 1 day).
  • A parcel is considered lost if it hasn’t arrived 14 business days after the estimated delivery date — at that point, we may offer a replacement or refund.

SECTION 6 – RETURNS & REFUNDS

We follow the Australian Consumer Law.

Faulty items:
We will replace or refund if the camera cannot function (e.g., the film won’t advance or the flash won’t fire). Minor cosmetic imperfections such as sticker peeling, slight glue residue, or small marks are not considered faults.

Change of mind:
We do not accept returns for change of mind, including for custom or made-to-order items.

Misuse:
No refunds or replacements will be given for items damaged by misuse, neglect, or alteration.

SECTION 7 – WARRANTY

We do not offer a separate manufacturer’s warranty beyond your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If the camera is faulty upon arrival, we will offer a refund or replacement depending on stock availability.

SECTION 8 – SAFETY

  • Contains 1 × AAA alkaline battery for flash operation.
  • Not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts.
  • This is not a toy — adult supervision recommended.
  • Do not open, dismantle, or tamper with the camera.

SECTION 9 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All branding, designs, text, and images are the property of Cameroo or its licensors. Use without permission is prohibited.

SECTION 10 – LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Except as required by law, Cameroo will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our products or website. Our maximum liability is limited to the remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.

SECTION 11 – GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be handled by the courts in that jurisdiction.

SECTION 12 – UPDATES TO THESE TERMS

We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on our website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
